WRI’s assessment

Morocco’s Logistics Growth Index edged up to 50.4 in September, a 0.1-point gain that kept the sector in modest expansion. The advance was primarily propelled by robust business volume and strengthening domestic goods demand, supported by rising tourism and remittance inflows, alongside expanding warehousing activity.

“Morocco’s exports accelerated in September, led by the automotive sector, while tourism receipts and money sent home from abroad supported household spending. That kept logistics growing modestly, though transport contracted and offset part of the gains.”
