Licensing & Syndication

Cite the index openly, with attribution. To republish our reports or redistribute the data — to the public or to your clients — these are the licences for newsrooms, institutions, and data providers.

Cite us — open, with attribution

News media, researchers, and anyone may quote a headline index reading and reproduce a single chart in articles, reports, or commentary — open to all, provided you attribute the source:

Source: [Country] Logistics Growth Index (LGI™), World Research Institute — worldresearch.org.Regional & World readings: “[Region]/World Logistics Index, World Research Institute.” Link the source page where you can.

Open citation covers the headline figure and one chart. It does not cover republishing a full report, redistributing the dataset or time series, systematic or automated extraction, or building a competing data product — those need one of the licences below. Search engines and AI services may crawl this site’s openly published pages, including to train AI models; this does not cover paid reports or redistributing the data.

Press & full-report access — for journalists

Reading the full report yourself for editorial work is single-user access, separate from republishing it to your audience (a reprint licence, below). Journalists may cite headline figures with attribution (above) at no charge; for full-report access to inform coverage, request complimentary press access (tell us your outlet and which editions you need — we grant access to your account), or simply purchase a single edition (US$99). Reading a report is not a licence to republish it; sharing or reproducing it for your audience needs the reprint licence below.

Reprint & client distribution — for institutions

Banks, consultancies, and other institutions that want to include our reports, charts, or figures in their own client-facing research, or share full reports with clients, need a reprint / syndication licence. A single-edition purchase and a country subscription are single-user, for internal use only — they do not include redistribution. Reprint licences are quoted by audience and term. Contact us to arrange one.

Data redistribution — for data organisations & platforms

Data vendors, terminals, and platforms that want to carry the index series and redistribute it to their own subscribers need a data-redistribution licence — an API or file feed of the index series, with required source attribution, derived-data terms, and usage reporting. The deep analytical reports are not part of the feed. Contact us for terms.

Benchmark & product references

To reference the index in a commercial contract, a financial product, or as a settlement benchmark, contact us for an index / benchmark licence. (Citation or display in commentary — articles, research, a dashboard — does not require this; only a reference written into a product or contract does.)

What every licence requires

  • Attribution to the World Research Institute on every use (and the LGI™ mark for the country index).
  • No editing of the figures or methodology, and no implication of WRI endorsement.
  • No onward sub-licensing beyond the licensed scope.

LGI™ (Logistics Growth Index) is a trademark of the World Research Institute. Regional and World “Logistics Index” readings are published openly for citation with attribution. See also the licence terms for editions you own and the Terms of Sale.
