About WRI Intelligence
Intelligence is the World Research Institute's program for independently computed economic indexes — published on a fixed monthly cadence, beginning with the Logistics Index.
The World Research Institute
The World Research Institute is the intelligence and research arm of the World Certification Institute (WCI), a global certification and accreditation body. It serves organisations in 150+ countries, and its Intelligence program turns primary research into standardised, comparable economic indexes — an early read on global momentum for businesses, investors, policymakers and researchers. What we publish
The Logistics Index is a GDP-weighted diffusion index of global goods movement across 42 economies, 4 regions and a World reading. Each month every economy is individually researched and cross-verified, and each edition reports the latest completed month with a forecast for the next.
The World and regional indexes are published openly, for anyone to read and cite. Country-level reports — with the full decomposition, peer cross-section, and a forecast track record that builds as each call realises, read in full online — are available to subscribers and edition owners.
How we work
- Independent. Indexes are computed by WRI on a documented methodology, independent of commercial influence.
- Transparent. The full weighting and aggregation are published, and every reading reconciles to its sub-index contributions.
- Consistent. One edition per economy, per month, on a fixed cadence, under a scheduled-revision policy.
- Accountable. Forecasts are recorded and scored as each call realises, so the track record is visible.
