Licence terms — what “own” means
What you receive when you own an edition or subscribe to a country: a single-user licence to read online, not a transferable file.

1. Owning an edition is a licence, not a file
When you own an edition you receive a permanent, single-user licence to read that edition online in your WRI Intelligence library. WRI Intelligence is web-only: we don’t issue a routine downloadable or transferable file — the only exception is the one-time copy we provide if we ever discontinue the service (the continuity commitment, section 4). “Own” means durable, personal access under this licence; it is not a transferable file, and not ownership of the underlying index, data, or methodology.
2. Single named user
An owned edition is licensed to a single named user — the account that purchased it — and access is attributed to that account. You may read it for your own use and, under our open-citation terms, quote a headline figure and reproduce a single chart with attribution. You may notshare, resell, sub-license, redistribute, or publish the report or its data to third parties except under a separate written agreement with us — see Licensing & Syndication for press, institutional, and data-redistribution licences. See also the Terms of Sale.
3. Subscriptions — access vs ownership
A country plan gives you two distinct things. Access: while your plan is active you may read the most recent editions online — this access ends when the plan lapses. Ownership:every new edition published while you subscribe becomes a permanently licensed edition under section 1, which you keep after cancellation. Your first payment includes the then-current edition to keep, so you keep at least that edition even if no new edition publishes before you cancel. The rolling read window is access, not ownership; only the editions you own are permanent.
4. Continuity commitment
Because owned editions are read online rather than held as a file, we commit to keeping them available in your library for as long as we operate the service. If we ever discontinue access to an owned edition, we will give at least 90 days’ advance notice and provide a downloadable copy during that period, so you always keep what you paid for.
5. Trademark & attribution
LGI™ (Logistics Growth Index) is a trademark of the World Research Institute; the index and its methodology are the Institute’s intellectual property. Attribution to the World Research Institute is required wherever a figure is reproduced. Regional and World “Logistics Index” readings are published openly for citation with attribution.
6. Refunds & statutory rights
Access begins immediately at purchase and the sale is final once it does; your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. See the Refunds & Cancellation policy.
