WRI’s assessment

Turkey’s Logistics Growth Index edged up to 53.0 in May 2026, advancing 0.1 points and sitting above its three-month average. The expansion was primarily driven by a robust rebound in business volume and strong transportation activity, as manufacturing production returned to growth and port cargo handling reached record levels, reinforcing the transhipment hub status.
