WRI’s assessment
Saudi Arabia’s Logistics Growth Index eased to 50.7 in May 2026, a 4.1-point decline that placed the kingdom 12th of 16 in the Asia-Pacific region. The pullback from the three-month average of 52.7 was primarily driven by severe contractions in transportation and transport capacity, as regional conflict sharply constrained key maritime and air corridors.
