WRI’s assessment

Vietnam’s Logistics Growth Index held at 56.9 in August 2026, unchanged from the prior month, as robust factory output and surging export volumes supported the sector. The strongest gains came from the Business Volume and Transportation indices, which expanded sharply on the back of accelerating new orders and strong external trade flows.
