WRI’s assessment
The Switzerland Logistics Growth Index advanced to 53.1 in August, a 0.4-point gain that places the country fourth among sixteen European peers. The expansion was primarily driven by an acceleration in business volume, reflecting the strongest factory activity among monitored nations, alongside gains in warehousing and transportation fueled by a surge in chemical and pharmaceutical exports and robust freight flows.
