WRI’s assessment
Sweden’s Logistics Growth Index advanced to 55.5 in August 2026, gaining 0.5 points to hold the top regional rank among sixteen European economies. The expansion was primarily propelled by the Business Volume and Transportation indices, which rose alongside active warehousing demand, even as underlying industrial production and retail sales exhibited softness.
