WRI’s assessment
The Saudi Arabia Logistics Growth Index fell to 48.3 in August 2026, down 1.3 points and remaining below its three-month average of 50.2. The contraction was primarily driven by a sharp decline in the Business Volume Index, as falling export orders and softening domestic trade revenues constrained overall activity.
