WRI’s assessment

The Philippines Logistics Growth Index rose to 50.3 in August, a 1.9-point monthly gain that lifted the reading above the no-change threshold. The improvement was primarily driven by a surge in business sentiment and a sharp acceleration in business volume, as factory activity reached its strongest pace in years alongside expanding port cargo flows.
