WRI’s assessment
Norway's Logistics Growth Index eased to 50.8 in August 2026, sitting above its three-month average of 50.4 as seven sub-indices registered expansion. The slight decline reflected a divergent domestic and external environment: surging energy and seafood export volumes buoyed business activity and transportation, while softer domestic wholesale and retail trade flows weighed on goods-for-sale and warehousing metrics.
