WRI’s assessment
The Netherlands Logistics Growth Index edged up to 53.5 in August, remaining firmly in expansion territory and above its three-month average. The slight gain was primarily driven by warehousing activity moving into expansion, despite a sharp deterioration in transport capacity amid global shipping bottlenecks.
