WRI’s assessment

Morocco’s Logistics Growth Index rose to 50.8 in August 2026, gaining 0.6 points to sit above the neutral threshold. The expansion was primarily supported by a sharp rise in the Warehouse Capacity Index, alongside the Business Volume Index, which advanced as cargo throughput at the northern maritime hub offset revenue softness in the national phosphate sector.
