WRI’s assessment

Indonesia’s Logistics Growth Index rose to 51.8 in August 2026, advancing 0.5 points from the prior month and sitting comfortably above its three-month average of 51.2. The expansion was primarily anchored by robust transportation and warehousing activity, alongside strong goods-for-sale momentum, which offset a notable contraction in overall business volume and softening employment.
