WRI’s assessment
Taiwan’s Logistics Growth Index advanced to 55.6 in July, up 0.2 points from the prior month, propelled by robust AI hardware demand and record export volumes. The expansion was primarily driven by the Business Volume Index, which climbed to 56.0 on surging external orders, and the Transportation Index, which rose to 57.5 as port throughput improved alongside elevated freight activity.
