WRI’s assessment
Brazil’s Logistics Growth Index edged up to 51.3 in July, gaining 0.1 points as robust freight and storage activity offset softening domestic demand. The expansion was driven primarily by the Transportation Index, which advanced to 56.5 on record container throughput at major seaports and steady road freight growth, alongside the Warehousing Index, which climbed to 56.0 amid record-low vacancy and e-commerce-driven demand.
