WRI’s assessment

Austria’s Logistics Growth Index slipped to 49.1 in July 2026, a 0.4-point decline placing the reading below its three-month average of 49.5. The contraction deepened as sharply higher fuel costs severely pressured transportation and capacity, while warehousing and goods availability also softened.
