WRI’s assessment

The Philippines Logistics Growth Index edged up to 48.8 in June 2026, improving by 0.9 points but remaining in contraction and below its three-month average of 49.6. The modest recovery was primarily anchored by the Business Volume Index, which expanded as robust external demand and easing fuel costs supported activity, alongside the Employment Index, which stabilized after prior reductions.
