WRI’s assessment
Malaysia’s Logistics Growth Index advanced to 53.2 in June, up 0.4 points from the prior month, as robust underlying demand and strong trade flows propelled activity. The expansion was primarily driven by the Transportation and Business Volume indices, which reflected elevated port throughput and ad-hoc routing diversions supporting freight movement, alongside a solid Warehousing index indicating sustained e-commerce and infrastructure demand.
