WRI’s assessment

Indonesia’s Logistics Growth Index eased to 50.6 in June 2026, slipping 0.3 points but holding just above its three-month average of 50.5. The moderate decline was primarily driven by a sharp contraction in the business volume index, where plunging factory activity, declining retail sales, and a shift to a trade deficit weighed heavily on overall logistics demand.
