WRI’s assessment

Egypt’s Logistics Growth Index slipped to 46.5 in June, a 0.4-point decline that kept the sector firmly in contraction and placed the country fifth of five in the regional ranking. The downturn was primarily driven by a sharp contraction in business volume as new orders declined, alongside falling goods for sale amid weak domestic demand and persistent inflation.
