WRI’s assessment
Austria’s Logistics Growth Index eased to 49.5 in June, slipping 0.5 points and falling below its three-month average of 50.4. The contraction was primarily driven by a sharp deterioration in business sentiment and a pullback in the goods for sale index, which remained in expansion as deeply negative consumer confidence and geopolitical price pressures stifled retail trade.
