WRI’s assessment
Indonesia’s Logistics Growth Index slipped to 49.9 in April 2026, a 1.9-point month-on-month decline that places the reading just inside contraction territory and marks the series low over its four-month history. The pullback from the 50.9 three-month average was primarily driven by sharper declines in the Business Volume and Transportation indices, alongside softer employment and transport capacity readings.
