WRI’s assessment
Algeria’s Logistics Growth Index registered 50.2 in February 2026, declining 0.2 point from the prior month to sit just below its three-month average of 50.3 and at the lower bound of its recorded range. The pullback reflected broad-based easing across the diffusion components, with the Business Volume Index (50.5) and Warehousing Index (50.2) easing but remaining in expansion, while the Transportation Index (49.9) slipped into contraction.
